Privacy Policy.
What we collect, why we collect it, and how to tell us to stop.
Last updated 4 October 2026
This policy explains what Brave Renewal (“we”, “us”) collects when you use bravecompanies.com or engage our services, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to this website and to our work with clients.
What we collect
Information you give us
- Your name, email address and general location when you submit the inquiry form or contact us directly.
- Whatever you choose to tell us about your situation in that form or in conversation.
- Information needed to deliver the work — your address, property details, preferences, budgets, and the names of vendors or professionals you are already working with.
Information collected automatically
- Standard server logs kept by our hosting provider, which may include IP address, browser type and the pages you visited.
- If analytics are in use, aggregate statistics about how the site is used. We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell or share information for cross-context behavioural advertising.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and arrange a consultation.
- To provide the services you have engaged us for, including coordinating with movers, installers, organizers and vendors on your behalf — and only to the extent needed for that coordination.
- To send you occasional notes from The Edit, if you asked us to. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We contact you by email only where you have asked us to. The consent box on our inquiry form is optional, and ticking it is never a condition of working with us. Unsubscribe using the link in any email, or write to us and we will remove you.
Confidentiality
Much of what clients tell us is told at a difficult moment. We treat it as private. We do not discuss your circumstances with anyone outside the engagement, we do not use identifiable details in marketing, and where we describe client situations publicly they are anonymized and altered.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers who help us run the business — website hosting, email, scheduling and payment processing — who may only use it to provide that service.
- Vendors and contractors on your project, with your knowledge and only what they need.
- Anyone you ask us to coordinate with.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that do not become engagements are deleted within two years. Client records are kept for seven years to meet tax and accounting requirements, then deleted. You can ask us to delete your information sooner, and we will unless we are legally required to keep it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live — including under the Colorado Privacy Act and similar state laws — you may have the right to know what we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, and to opt out of marketing. To exercise any of these, email marli@bravecompanies.com. We will respond within 45 days and we will not treat you differently for asking.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies required for it to function. If we add analytics or scheduling tools that set their own cookies, this policy will be updated first.
Children
Our services are for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. Where our work involves a client's children, we only hold what is necessary — for example a bedroom plan — and we hold it as part of the client's file.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Please do not send sensitive legal, medical or financial documents through the website form; we will arrange a secure method when one is needed.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page, and for material changes we will say so on the site.
